Next Exit...

February is here and I am making some changes. I know that "New Years Resolutions" should have been done a month ago...

So sue me!

I am a little late to the party.

The biggest change that I am going to share is that I am, for the first time, moving out on my own.  Here I am 34 years old and have never, I REPEAT, NEVER, lived on my own. I have lived with roommates, family and friends all my life and now that is going to change.

Soooo this coming week I will finish packing my boxes into my car and head the 5 miles down the road from my bro/sis-in-law house and into my new place!!

Can you tell that I am excited?!! Time to put on my big girl panties...

Now the biggest challenge... how do I decorate!?

Any suggestions? :)

Welcome back... :/

Soooo... It's been a long time my friend.
I have been off the grid for a little while.
So many things have happened since my last post. Good and bad. But all were meant to happen.

In April of 2012 I moved away from the city I had called home for the past 9 years to go to a place I had been once but fell in love. LOVELAND COLORADO.

Some of you may say that is crazy. Yes it was! But it was well worth it.

I have a brother and sister in law here. Plus an amazing nephew who brightens my day every time he says "E, walk!" or "Ohhhh moon, ohhhhh stars" in his two year old wonder. How could you not smile. I wish I could capture every moment with him on video because it brings joy to my heart.

I get to wake up every day to the beautiful mountains and watch the sunset over their peaks every night! I am sooooo privileged!

Since I moved I have loved and lost (more on that later) but I also started an amazing new job with an adoption agency. I have always wanted to adopt and this place is great because I get to match families with their babies and in turn get to match babies with their FOREVER FAMILIES! How amazing is that!?

If you ever wanting to adopt from Korea or China you need to get hooked up with AAC Adoption & Family Network, Inc. in Berthoud Colorado! They/we are the bomb diggidy bomb. hahaha

Okay so enough for right now... More to come!

I'll Wait

This song has been resounding in my spirit lately.

It is what our desire should be. To WAIT on Him.

The giver of peace, understanding, love... The list goes on and on.

When I first heard this song I sat and cried. Had I been waiting? No I don't think I had been. I think I had been pushing through trying to do it on my own and then later asking God if it was okay. I didn't wait to hear what he had to say.

I just wanted to share this with you.

The song is called "I'll Wait" by Jai. (I had to listen to the song to get the lyrics so some might be a bit off but please forgive me.)

Lyrics say:

Time passes by, must quiet my mind so I can hear.

Hearing you speak sets me on fire, its my desire.

Holding my breath, I will not exhale until I hear you speak.

Your voice, loudly speaks softer then the broken whispers of the world.

So I'll wait to hang on every word,

So I'll wait on you. Until your voice is the only sound that can be heard.

Yes I'll wait on you.

Until the rain is done, I'll wait.

Until the sun shines down on me.

Until the storm clouds turn from grey, I'll wait on you.

Until the pain has gone away, until your words take root in me.

Until your vision is all I see, I'll wait on you.

I'll wait on you. I'll Wait... On you....

I'll Wait. I won't move. I won't move. T

ill I hear you speak. So I'll wait..

And the award goes to...

I have been stopped at so many places (restaurants, stores, post office, church and now the mail box) and asked what I was wearing.

Well now the secret is out.

I wear: FANTASY By BRITNEY SPEARS

Yes, Ladies, I wear and LOVE this!!!

I started wearing this when it came out and haven't stopped. I will go out of my way to try and find it. I used to save the bottles, I know it's a little weird, but I had gone through almost 20 bottles in a year and a half. Yes, that is crazy but I don't feel complete in my day with out a half dozen sprays. :)

So if you are looking for something new to wear then you need really need to check this out. You will not regret it.

BTW have I said this yet: I LOVE THIS PERFUME!! hahaha

Enjoy!

Can't believe...

I have been such a slacker on my blog these past few month. I have been just sooo busy.
Here is the run down for the past couple months.

January: Not really much happened. My eyes were opened to things that I needed to know about. 'Nuff said on that.

February: I walked away from my job to pursue my Children's line of clothing and my writing. God said it was time and the opportunity showed it's self and so I obeyed. I can't say that it has been easy but God has provided BIG time. gGp!!!

March: I turned 32! And I started working part time doing something I love! Admin and music. AND I have been just keeping busy!!!
Now onto April: Well this month has come and gone. I have been crazy busy just trying to keep it all together! Easter came up on us in a flash. Along with that came the Women's Conference at church. PLUS the LIVE VICKI YOHE recording of her new album "Somebody Worship" (which I was in the choir for). It was an amazing and powerful experience. GOD IS AWESOME!!! I will post when the cd is released. Y'all must go and get it!! And I got to meet some incredible people. (AY haha)

Okay that is enough about me!! Happy Reading!

To start the new year....

WELCOME TO 2011!!!

I can't believe that it is already a new year! Where did 2010 go?

So this year I am going to make some changes.

Here are my changes:

Laugh more, hug more, hate less, LOVE MORE.

Write more, sing more, create more.

Motivate more, be in a hurry less, wait more.

Get upset less, get frustrated less, have patience more, forgive more.

Pray more, curse less (not that I really curse), be thankful more.

I am going to keep working on my list through out the month of things I will do more/less of.

What are some of your resolutions? Will you keep them?

Happy Reading!
