New Book Update

Well... "This Girls Journey" is coming along very nicely. I have been able to write almost everyday these past couple weeks. I am proud to say that I am at 23k words!!! How exciting is that!?
My goal is to finish this book by September and have it sent out to Beta Readers. Then to have it edited and put up on Amazon by end of October.

I am finding that this story is just writing itself in areas. Some I am struggling emotionally with but it is supposed to be that way. I want these characters to be true to themselves and to draw on the emotions of the reader. I hope that it is working out that way. I am becoming very attached to the main character and her life story. The struggles that she goes through and the feelings that she is dealing with are relatable. It's hard not to get invested in her life.

Room in the Heart... MY NEW BOOK!!!

My new book is now published on Amazon!! It's been such an adventure to get this published and in the hands of the readers.

The new book follows a young woman, Lottie, who is sold as a mail order bride, by her mother, to a miner in the Colorado territory. Once she arrives in the small little mine town in the high mountains, she finds out that her betrothed is no longer there. Out of desperation she gets a job at a hotel/saloon to help out a newly widowed father of 2 young children. She is thrown many trails through out her time in the 'ville.

Should she follow her guarded heart or her stubborn head?

Will God keep His promise to her to give her the desires of her heart?

The biggest question is will the young man open his heart and allow himself to love again?
